Sponsorship
We are looking for sponsors for 2025

We are actively seeking local sponsors to partner with the club and support us for the 2025 season, which is set to be another big year for the club as we continue to grow our membership into our 11th year.
We are the only dedicated Community Touch Rugby Club in Devon and play all over the South of England, all year round. We have over 300 members and run weekly social community sessions as well as club training.
Our club side, the ‘Exeter Eagle Owls’, regularly play fixtures across the South-West and, through the summer season, play in the National Touch Series against the top sides in the country. The club have Mens, Womens and Mixed teams and have numerous players who play at the highest level representing the South-West, England, Wales and Ireland.
We have a big following across social media with over 1500 followers across our Facebook and Instagram pages as well as our own website meaning we can reach a high number of people, especially in an area local to your business.
The club is completely run by unpaid volunteers, and currently without a dedicated home - meaning extensive facility hire costs. You can read about our 2024 season at the bottom of this page.
We have a number of sponsorship opportunities available effective from January 2025 detailed below.

2023
2024
2024 was an amazing year from the club as we continued to grow and develop at both a community and performance level.
Community Touch

We have run community touch rugby sessions every Monday across the year growing our pool of players involved in Exeter Touch Rugby to over members!
Sponsorship money has been vital to secure pitch bookings, maintain equipment and run a range of inter-club community tournaments.
We have run monthly social events for all our players as well as large annual events such as our End of Season Dinner and Christmas tournament.
Club Touch
This season we have grown our club to run a Men's, Women's and two Mixed Squads, entering all of these teams in the Regional (South West England) and National (England) Touch Rugby Series.
We have run club training sessions across the year and attendance has continually grown, with 40+ players now regularly attending club training sessions. Alongside this, our first players hit 100 appearances for Exeter Touch Rugby.
We were promoted to the top national division of mixed touch rugby for the first time and are now ranked 17th in the country. Success in this division alongside growing numbers means we have now also entered a second mixed team into Division 4 and are steadily moving up the rankings towards Division 3.
As well as our regular season, we also won the Cheltenham Open Charity Tournament and hosted and won the Exeter Invitational Tournament. Our players ran, refereed and played in the touch rugby competition at the Bournemouth Sevens and we are heading on a Club Tour to compete in the Strasbourg Touch Tournament in December.
Sponsorship has supported our pitch bookings, tournament entries and equipment for our club touch side. Many of these costs need to be paid upfront in January and so receiving support has given us the confidence to make the financial commitments required to run a team at the top level of national club touch.
Representative Touch
Eight of our players, coaches and referees have represented England and Wales at the European Touch Rugby Championships in Vichy, and came home with five gold medals.
Fourteen of our players, referees and coaches were selected to represent South-West England at the England National Championships and came home with a gold medal in the Senior Mens and a Silver medal in the Senior Womens division.
Two of our players were selected to play at the inaugural touch rugby competition at Sandy Park, a competition involving professional players and celebrities as part of the celebrations for Jack Nowell and Henry Slade's Testimonial Year
Media Coverage
Our club was written about in a National News Article, written by England Touch Rugby.
Our teams have featured in online streaming of matches during the Mens, Womens and Mixed National Touch Series.
Our representative players have featured in national promotions and match streaming associated with the England National Championships (Nottingham) and European Championships (Vichy).
Alongside the national media attention, we have also released weekly articles and team announcements on our club app ("Spond") to our (almost) 300 club members and have continued to run our club website and social media.
England Touch, our governing body, has been recognised by Sport England and is hosting the World Cup next Summer in Nottingham. The World Cup is a major international event is expected to bring thousands of athletes, coaches and supporters to Nottingham this July, alongside millions in revenue. Currently we have eight players involved in England and Wales High Performance Programmes who may be selected to represent their country at this event.
Aspirations
The Touch Rugby World Cup is being hosted in Nottingham, bringing huge opportunities to enhance the visibility of our sport, recruit new members into our club, and hopefully give us the opportunity to watch players who have learnt the game in Exeter representing at the highest level.
This is our tenth season, so we will be running a series of events to highlight and promote our club's milestone as we approach our anniversary at the back end of the 2024 Season!
This is also the first year we have established sides in Men's, Women's and (two) Mixed National Divisions - with so many new players and training numbers approaching 50, we will be looking to capitalise on this to drive our teams up the regional and national leagues.
